About the volunteering opportunity
this engagement was booked exclusively by a Volkswagen team with Volkswagen's team event fund "Gemeinsam Engagiert" as part of the Role Model Program. It is therefore protected by a project code. If you are also interested in a team event, you can find all the information here.
We need support for the annual cleaning campaign in the premises of the Wolfsburger Tafel.
Once a year, we completely clear out all the rooms, clean them thoroughly and then put everything back in its place. This action is crucial to ensure a high standard of hygiene - especially as we regularly work with food and want to ensure everyone's health and safety.
This day also serves to prepare for our 25th anniversary and the celebrations on 27.06.2026.

Your Tasks
The aim of the campaign is to thoroughly tidy and clean the premises of the Tafel. For example, all tables and furniture must be removed from the rooms so that all corners and surfaces can be easily reached. The rooms are then thoroughly cleaned and at the end everything is returned to its original state.
As this means a lot of work, we are happy about every helping hand!
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
No previous experience is required - motivation and a few strong hands to carry tables and shelves are all you need.
What to bring
Please wear appropriate clothing that can get dirty. We will provide materials such as gloves and cleaning agents.
Catering is also provided: there will be drinks and a small snack.

Save food and help those in need with it! We are supported mainly by volunteers, but also by some employees who were referred to us by the job center and minijobs. Unfortunately, we do not find enough volunteers in our rich city.
Activities
- Collection of food donations from suppliers with a VW-Crafter (in a team of two)
- Loading and unloading the vehicle
- Sorting and putting away the goods
- Distribution of food exclusively to needy
- Office work
