Support NABU Salzgitter in maintaining and helping to shape its Biological Station

Preliminary information: This engagement was booked exclusively by a Volkswagen team with Volkswagen's team event fund "Gemeinsam Engagiert" as part of the Role Model Program. Our Biological Station is a small natural paradise on the outskirts of Salzgitter. It includes a meadow orchard, a forest, an environmental education area and a lovingly designed show garden. We are looking for volunteers to help us maintain and develop this special place.

We find the right task for everyone, depending on their skills. Above all, motivation and enjoyment of working in nature are important.

Please wear weatherproof clothing that can get dirty and smell like a campfire. Also make sure you wear suitable protection against tick and mosquito bites and sun protection on warm days.

Please bring gardening gloves for use.

Catering is provided on site: we provide coffee, water and freshly baked cake.

We only have one forest toilet (dry separation toilet without flushing)
