About the volunteering opportunity
Preliminary information: This engagement was booked exclusively by a Volkswagen team with the Volkswagen team event fund "Gemeinsam Engagiert" as part of the Role Model Program. The Melverode adventure playground stands for nature, fun and shared experiences.
We need a wide range of support at the playground so that children and young people can make even better use of their popular nature area to play and discover.

Your Tasks
Some tangible tasks are on the agenda:
- cutting back and removing overgrown blackberry bushes
- repairing and replacing the boards at the goat stand
- and removing nails from wooden boards so that children can use them to build new things (such as huts)
There may also be other activities on site - there is always something to do!
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
No special skills are required. You should simply be motivated and keen to lend a hand.
What to bring
Please remember to bring weatherproof clothing, sturdy shoes and your own work gloves.
If possible, you are welcome to bring some hedge trimmers. Possibly wooden boards, but this will be discussed.
All other necessary materials and food will be provided on site.

Please note that the assignment takes place outdoors and involves physical exertion. It is possible that children will also be out and about on the site on the day.
