About the volunteering opportunity

A large terrace made of Euro pallets with a roof is to be built in front of our construction trailer for the Arche Noah-Weststadt family center. Support the construction of the terrace and, if necessary, the design of our seating and palisades, which could be painted with wood preservative.

Your Tasks

Whereby you could support:

  • Construction of the terrace
  • Sanding
  • Painting

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
It is an advantage if you know how to use tools and brushes. Otherwise, just have fun!

What to bring

Bring work clothes and gloves, materials, food and drinks will be provided on site. It would be great if you could bring a cordless drill, a wood saw or a sander for the day. However, this is not a prerequisite for your participation. We will contact you again in good time before the event and ask if you could bring the tools mentioned.

Ev.-luth. Familienzentrum/ Kindertagesstätte Weststadt Arche Noah in Braunschweig

The Noah's Ark daycare center is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Family Center Weststadt and cares for a total of 69 children aged 3 to 6 years in three groups. The facility offers loving and competent care with a focus on day-to-day language development, individual development support and religious education. The pedagogical work is based on the Early Excellence approach, which emphasizes the uniqueness of each child, close cooperation with parents and openness to the district. A spacious outdoor area invites the children to play, move and discover nature.
