About the volunteering opportunity
Together with our participants (people with support needs), we would like to organize an autumn festival. We plan to have a barbecue together, play games and build various outdoor games, such as giant Mikado, Viking chess and can throwing.
We would also like to carry out various crafts on the grounds in order to make the leisure club more attractive and improve it in the long term.
Your Tasks
Help the participants with manual work and repairs, barbecuing and serving drinks.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.
An understanding of craftsmanship and skills are an advantage. Openness towards people with support needs is also important.
What to bring
Materials and food will be provided on site. You are welcome to bring suitable work/outdoor clothing. A limited number of tools are available, so it would be an advantage if you could also bring general tools, e.g. a cordless screwdriver, a hammer and nails, a saw or pliers. However, this is not a prerequisite for your participation. We will contact you again in good time before the event and ask whether you could bring the tools mentioned.

Du kannst diese Einwilligung jederzeit ohne Angabe von Gründen gegenüber der Volkswagen AG z.B. per E-Mail (gemeinsamengagiert@volkswagen.de) oder per Post (an die Volkswagen AG, Kst. 1866, Berliner Ring 2, 38440 Wolfsburg) widerrufen.

Visitors can play together, get creative, exchange ideas or take part in varied leisure activities such as going to the cinema or bowling, soccer evenings, strolls through the city or table football tournaments. With its diverse program, the leisure club promotes social participation and inclusive interaction.
