Volunteering day: Help us with gardening and spend some quality time with the residents!

With your support, the garden area of the Amalie-Sieveking residential and care center will be maintained and beautified again this year. The garden should offer the senior citizens and staff an idyllic outdoor space that invites them to linger. The residents would be delighted to have you visit and lend a hand!

There's a lot to do in the garden again: Paths and beds are to be cleared of weeds, new plants planted, bushes cut back and the lawns brought back into shape. The senior citizens are particularly looking forward to the friendly exchanges and enjoyable get-togethers during the break.

You should be open in your dealings with senior citizens and enjoy gardening.

As only a small number of gardening tools are available at the facility, it would be great if you could contribute a shovel, hoe, scraper, broom or similar for the day. However, this is not a prerequisite for your participation. We will contact you again in good time before the event and ask if you could bring the tools mentioned.

Your clothing should also be suitable for gardening: Gardening gloves, comfortable weatherproof clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended. Culinary refreshments are provided on site: coffee, tea, water and a small snack will keep you going the whole time.

By registering, you agree that your contact details will be passed on to Volkswagen AG if necessary, so that further organizational points can be shared with you. 

After you register for the project, a pop-up window will appear asking for your consent to the processing and publication of photo, film and sound recordings. Consent is voluntary and participation in the project is also possible without consent. You can view the status of your consent at any time in your profile and edit it up to 24 hours before the day of the assignment. 

You can revoke this consent at any time without giving reasons to Volkswagen AG, e.g. by e-mail (gemeinsamengagiert@volkswagen.de) or by post (to Volkswagen AG, Kst. 1866, Berliner Ring 2, 38440 Wolfsburg) without giving reasons.
