Volunteering Day: Build raised beds and pallet furniture for the Glück Auf Broistedt daycare center

Our Glück Auf day care center will open its doors in mid-June, creating a place for people with chronic mental illness to spend time. As part of the new construction, the outdoor area will also be designed to be attractive and inviting. We would therefore like to build 1-2 raised beds and a seating area made from pallets. We are looking for committed hobby craftsmen who can work with our people in need of help and our employees to implement these projects.

Construction of the raised bed and the pallet furniture together with those affected and possibly employees.

The material will be provided by us. It would be great if you could contribute a cordless screwdriver (incl. bit sets), a jigsaw or a hand sander for the day. An electric stapling machine would also help us. However, this is not a prerequisite for your participation. We will contact you again in good time before the event and ask if you could bring the tools mentioned.

All volunteers are cordially invited to a breakfast snack and a barbecue together on our premises.

People who attend our day care center tend to not always be able to finish projects they have started and often need more breaks. Of the 7 hours of the project, you will only participate in the project proportionally. There will therefore always be times when you can/must work more independently and without the support of those affected.

Nach Deiner Anmeldung zum Projekt erscheint ein Pop-up-Fenster, bei dem wir Deine Einwilligung zur Verarbeitung und Veröffentlichung von Foto-, Film- und Tonaufnahmen abfragen. Die Einwilligung ist freiwillig und die Teilnahme am Projekt ist auch ohne Einwilligung möglich. Deinen Status zur Einwilligung kannst Du jederzeit in Deinem Profil einsehen und darin bis zu 24 Stunden vor dem Einsatztag bearbeiten. 

Du kannst diese Einwilligung jederzeit ohne Angabe von Gründen gegenüber der Volkswagen AG z.B. per E-Mail (gemeinsamengagiert@volkswagen.de) oder per Post (an die Volkswagen AG, Kst. 1866, Berliner Ring 2, 38440 Wolfsburg) widerrufen.
