Volunteering Day: working in the Adventure Nature Garden - building a new seating area by the fire pit and other projects

Our fire pit is a popular place for children and adults in the garden. However, the benches there are getting very old. We would therefore like to use the day to build a sturdy bench made of wood and stones.

This year, we have also been given an additional, larger area in the garden. On this day, we would like to develop part of this area together into another adventure nature garden area.

Enjoying building and gardening is an advantage. We are very happy to welcome people with experience in timber construction.

Please wear weatherproof clothing that can also get dirty. If available, please bring work gloves.

Tools are available on site. It would be great if you could bring a cordless screwdriver or a jigsaw for the day. However, this is not a prerequisite for your participation. We will contact you again in good time before the event and ask if you could bring the tools mentioned.

Catering will be provided on site.

JANUN's Adventure Nature Garden is an inclusive community garden in which various groups have been active for thirteen years. The site is currently being expanded by an area of around 500 m².

The work in the garden is usually carried out by a garden network of active members and volunteers. However, we are always happy to receive additional support for larger projects.

Mit Deiner Anmeldung erklärst Du Dich damit einverstanden, dass Deine Kontaktdaten bei Bedarf an die Volkswagen AG übergeben werden, sodass ggf. weitere organisatorische Punkte mit Dir geteilt werden können. 

Nach Deiner Anmeldung zum Projekt erscheint ein Pop-up-Fenster, bei dem wir Deine Einwilligung zur Verarbeitung und Veröffentlichung von Foto-, Film- und Tonaufnahmen abfragen. Die Einwilligung ist freiwillig und die Teilnahme am Projekt ist auch ohne Einwilligung möglich. Deinen Status zur Einwilligung kannst Du jederzeit in Deinem Profil einsehen und darin bis zu 24 Stunden vor dem Einsatztag bearbeiten. 

Du kannst diese Einwilligung jederzeit ohne Angabe von Gründen gegenüber der Volkswagen AG z.B. per E-Mail (gemeinsamengagiert@volkswagen.de) oder per Post (an die Volkswagen AG, Kst. 1866, Berliner Ring 2, 38440 Wolfsburg) widerrufen.
